Philippa believes in yoga for everyone, of any age and physical ability. She teaches Hatha yoga, which is a slower practice supported by breathing techniques. Philippa offers modifications of each pose to suit every level of student. She uses the breath as well as simple meditation methods in class, since relaxation of the muscles is as essential as effort.

Yoga can be taken up at any age because it is non-competitive. Yoga encourages the student to listen to his or her own body for guidance and progress. The postures (asanas) relieve the effects of everyday life such as hunching over a

computer, injuries caused by sports activities and the physical manifestations of mental stress. 

Philippa trained at The Space, Thame with Fire Angel Yoga, and is fully insured by Yoga Alliance Professionals.
